So today was a good day.
The j, k, & h squads got to hang out today in Vilatechi which is basically like the bel air of gypsy villages running water, indoor pluming, even showers. We all had tons of questions for h squad who has been on the field since jan so you could say they are a bit more seasoned then ourselves. I mean they’ve been through Africa. They had a lot of encouraging things to say and just general good advice which is nice there is just something about a more advanced racer that just leaves us newbies in awe. We had some pretty great worship tonight. It’s just amazing getting all these different teams together to praise God. Its a powerful thing.
Man today I feel like so much more happened then I have words for. During Em and I’s walk this morning I just really got a peace about life after the race I feel like I am just going to be moving forward the rest of my life no more stagnate moments in store for me. I’m going to do big things. I’m not quite sure exactly what that looks like yet but I really feel I am not called to be in Tulsa for to long when I get home. We’ll see. (Mom I know this is big news for you and Trey and Garrett I hope to talk to you soon about this).
Well we are no longer going to Egypt next month talk about ATL. The next couple of days we are going to be praying about where we need to be next month. I’m still routing for Egypt personally but I know whatever is in store for us is going to be amazing. Honestly I have never felt better in my life I am so open to whatever God has for me and us as a team. I feel like there couldn’t be anything bad in our future. Another route update is TURKEY FOR CHRISTMAS! We got that official update tonight. I’m super pumped for turkey. I’m pretty sure Israel is still on the calendar as far as we know for November. Gah. The middle east. Pumped.
So in a couple of days we are leaving Arcalia to go to the awakening the huge conference for racers alums and current. I have a feeling it’s going to be pretty epic. Hopefully this town will be able to handle 200 plus of us.
Hope everyone at home is doing awesome!!!
Love!
