Merry Christmas!
Hi everyone! I have HUGE news to share with you all! An anonymous donor is giving 5,000 to my support account at the end of the month along with the 2,500 I will be receiving from Ridgeway’s GO FUND I am nearly at my goal of 13,800! Praise God. He is so faithful and always follows through with his plans. The plan for me was obviously to be on this mission trip here and now. I am so unbelievably encouraged by this person’s and by each and EVERY one of my supporters. YOU GUYS ROCK! I know God has placed it on my heart to be out here in the forefront, walking out in bold confidence that I am in his will. I could not be here without the help and prayers I have received and will continue to receive, I can’t stress enough that you guys are as much a part of this as I am.
I wanted to thank Mike & Sarah Lehew for all of the encouragement and prayers. You guys have shaped me in big ways. I don’t know if you all know this but I feel called to be a youth minister after the race. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for such an awesome and godly family pushing through the roughness it means to be a youth pastor. So thanks again. P.s. a little blog shout out. I know Mike is teaching on giving this Sunday and I wanted to touch on that just a bit. I encourage you guys to keep giving to the GO FUND and other missions organizations. You are supporting such a huge thing. To help shape a person, to help empower this generation to take ministry to the next level. To grow and be real and to see what really matters. Reaching people. In big and small ways you never know what the tiniest prayer will bring or what sort of power it has in a person’s life. I don’t even really know how to express the gratitude and love I have for my church home. I am so thankful that we are mission minded, that we have a multitude of prayer warriors, a youth group that wont relent…they will pursue God in everything they do, awesome families, and people who love God with all they have.
Thank you guys that sent me a note, it was a great piece of home! Special thanks to Alex, I needed those words!
