Beauty.

All things He has created are in his image.

I think in being a woman you deal with beauty in a number of
ways.

I would like to get a couple of thoughts involving “beauty”
out.

I’ve struggled for the majority of my live in dealing with
what it means to be beautiful in the world’s sight and in my own. Not usually
dealing with what God means when he thinks beauty.

I know I am beautifully and wonderfully made according to
the word but the world lets us think differently. That we are not beautiful
unless a man wants us or others envy us. How sick is that? We are fed lies very
early on in life about being perfect and attractive. It is one of the biggest
lies that Satan loves to sell us. Being a female we tell ourselves several
times a day you are not pretty enough, skinny enough, or lovely enough to be
liked.

THAT IS NOT THE TRUTH.

You are beautiful. You are God’s masterpiece. A little piece of kingdom that gets to walk
around this earth proclaiming his love. We are made to do his work. That is why
we are never satisfied. That is why we straighten our hair, put make up on, buy
new clothes, change professions, look for that man who is going to love us.
Don’t you know that is why we are always searching?

God has really opened my eyes to this. We are created to be encouragers, life
givers, and strong foundations for the generations to come.

You ARE wonderfully made. We need to be good stewards of our
bodies. We do not need to seek comforts of this world. I think that is why I
have struggled so much with my identity. I am always looking for some way to
look or feel beautiful, but the thing is we are beautiful. We are everything he
has created us for we are fully equipped in faith and beauty.

I had a vision of myself in years to come hanging out with
my future family: husband and kids. That is truly beautiful. What glory we can
bring to God by being who he has made us to be. Another thing I have been
praying for is the confidence he has made specifically for me. I think that is
why I just sort of had this revelation that I AM BEAUTIFUL. I possess the qualities and characteristics I
am supposed to embody I just need to walk in the confidence that he has
equipped me with. You know what this means. You carry these same things in ways
that are the same and some that are different. He has created a confidence for
each of us that we need to step into. It’s silly that we let things of this
world get to us. Like believing the lie that we are not pretty when I am
telling you sisters YOU ARE.

I will no longer claim that lie that has affected my life.

I know we can move past this. I am choosing to. I will walk
in the beauty that He has created me to be. Let’s walk this out together. Keep me accountable to this thought. I’m
gunna bring glory to God with my life. That no longer includes doubting the
person I was created to be. I’m going to be encouraging I want to help women
come to this place of full faith and confidence; I think this is one of the
biggest hurdles a woman comes against. I want to empower you all to move past
it.

Thanks for reading this you guys.

I’m so thankful for your comments and your thoughts. Let’s
bring some kingdom and move past this silly stuff!

When we arrive at eternity’s shore where death is just a
memory and tears are no more. We’ll enter in as the wedding bells ring. Your
bride will come together and we’ll sing you’re beautiful.
