Honduras was a lot of things! We had the opportunity to do ministry with a family in Gracias for 2 weeks and another family in Valle de Angels for two weeks! So our days looked a lot different from the last. As I look back on this last month and reflect over what the Lord was doing, it would be learning again, that it’s all about the process. I caught my selves on more than one occasion thinking “alright, lets do this and get it done and over with!” But that’s not the point, and it sure isn’t the right attitude. It’s about the time, the conversation, and the relationships. If we try to jump over these 3 things, our hearts are half in, if that! And if that’s the case, we’re completely missing the point and reason why God has us there in the first place. So, the next time you are in a situation that you are rushing to get through, that you maybe are dreading to do… I challenge you to take a step back and ask the Lord what greater purpose He has going on. After all, we should feel honored. over joyed, and excited that the Lord invited us to take part and come along side him in that certain situation. Look around at the others God invited in to help you, and seek ways to invest in them during that time. There’s more for us in everything we do. We just need to ask for God’s eyes to see that sometimes.
Here’s a bit of what our month looked like! If you get a chance, get on Facebook and look up Gospel Ranch Honduras and Hope at Hand. These are the two ministries we were with this month and they are always inviting others to be apart of what God is doing through them. Also, keep them in your prayers, many lives are being changed through them!
Also, I just wanted to say Thank You again to all of you for the support and prayers and for helping me meet this last deadline! I love each and every one of you!
