101 things about Brittany :) {part one}

Hey all! This is my first blog (that I have been so excited to write FOREVER!) Well, maybe it has only been a week or two but I am so excited to share this journey with all of you and here are 101 things about me to get us started:

1. I am from Columbus, OHIO!
2. I have an older brother and a younger sister (they are 26 and 20)
3. I love kids and want to have lots of them one day.
4. My whole life, I wanted to be an astronaut so I first went to college for aeronautical engineering.
5. Since then, I have been to 4 additional colleges and had 9 or 10 more majors.
6. I have grown up in the church my whole life and believe that God has always been my best friend.
7. My first best friend was my Ga-Ga (my great-grandma on my mom’s side)
8. I LOVE the color pink.
9. I Love anything zebra print.
10. I am literally trying to buy everything for my trip to be pink, gray, and zebra print.
11. I am a MAJOR princess (but why not, my father is the King of all Kings)
12. Me and my sister spend every waking minute together!
13. Unless we are at work, but even then we visit each other A LOT!
14. I am still shocked that I am going on the world race, I have always wanted to travel the World and do mission work.
15. I am super nervous about eating food internationally because I am so picky.
16. I read World Race blogs every night.
17. In high school I was in Color Guard and I loved it.
18. The Spice Girls are literally my favorite music group ever.
19. Also, 90s music is the best ever.
20. My sister, best friends and I quote Mean Girls, Bridesmaids, Friends, and Bring It On like it is our job.
21. I am a nanny during the day and a Barista at Starbucks at nights and on weekends.
22. I love drinking wine and eating cheese with my mom.
23. Pedicures are my favorite.
24. I have gone to summer camp every summer from 1995-2012.
25. Campfires are one of my favorite smells.
26. I love tattoos ( I have 3 right now but want more)
27. I have always wanted to adopt children and my mom is kind of nervous that I will come home from the race with like 10 of them.
28. I truly believe that my prince charming is somewhere waiting to find me.
29. My toe nails are always painted.
30. My favorite food is soup (specifically broccoli and cheese)
31. I love Mexican food.
32. I have lived in Ohio, New York, and California in the past 5 years.
33. I do prison ministry the second Sunday of every Month and I LOVE it.
34. The girls at the prison I often refer to as my best friends because I love them so much.
35. I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up.
36. My best subjects are Chemistry and Calculus.
37. One of my favorite Bible verses is 1 Timothy 4:12.
38. I love the Spice Girls.
39. I also love everything about outer space.
40. I used to work at a Children’s Science Museum and I loved everything about it.
41. I love love love playing board games.
42. I also love trivia.
43. One of my biggest downfalls is procrastination.
44. I am supposed to be packing to move right now.
45. I am super nervous about living out of a backpack because I have so many clothes.
46. I also rarely wear the same outfit twice in a month. ( I have a lot of transitioning to get used to.
47. My dream vacation spot is Greece.
48. I love helping people (I used to keep baggies of food in my car to give to homeless people I drove past)
49. I started drinking coffee at age 8 and working at starbucks at age 16….I kinda love coffee.
50. I have to start getting ready for work so this is going to be a two-part blog……
