WE SERVE A GOD WHO PROVIDES!
A few days ago, I knew I needed to write a fundraising blog, but was having serious writers block. The final fundraising deadline was approaching and although I had total peace that the Lord was going to provide, I knew I needed to do my part and be a diligent steward of the opportunity He has given me. Because of the writer's block, I asked the Lord if maybe I just wasn't suppose to try to fundraise and maybe rely on Him alone or if this was an attack from Satan. I didn't get a firm answer, so I simply continued writing the blog and eventually was satisfied with it.
The morning that I posted it, my support account needed $1738. I quickly posted the blog then left for ministry. Upon returning two hours later, I had a full inbox with people sharing the amount of their donations, one even shared she mailed the check yesterday, before I ever posted the blog. The donations totaled $1700 with a few other donations that were in the mail covering the last $38! Jesus met my every need before I had even posted the blog. He had everything under control. His plans are SO GOOD!
SO… I AM FULLY FUNDED!
He used so many of you, friends, family, acquaintances, strangers, bankers, missionaries, students, retirees, nurses, moms, teachers, book buyers and nannies! Thank you for listening to Him and believing in me! You have blessed me far beyond what you can imagine! He is a provider; through you, He raised $15,500 like it was nothing! He is a God of abundance!

I was just reading in Matthew 7 and was reminded that He is the giver of good gifts! He hears us when we call out to Him and He is a good Father!
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! "
