God’s on the move in Nepal! (with pictures)

Hey Everyone!!

We have been living in Kathmandu, Nepal for the past week and a half! I already know that this place is going to be one of my top favorite countries on the race! The country is absolutely beautiful with all of the winding cobblestone roads, how the shops light up at night, and the stunning scenery of being surrounded on all sides by the Himalayas. But my favorite thing about this place is the beautiful people whose hearts are so hungry for Jesus!

Our ministry has been nothing short of amazing. We get to do something different every day. It’s been excellent in getting a taste of such a variety of ways to impact this place for the Kingdom! We’ve gotten to do prayer walks at temples, tell people about Jesus on the streets, hike to a leper colony to minister there, visit a rehabilitation home for girls rescued from human trafficking, and attend nightly fellowship meetings here in the village where we’ve gotten to share testimonies and sermons to encourage our brothers and sisters. This has all been in just in the first week and a half! We are now in a little village about 5 hours away from Kathmandu, partnering with a local church. During the day, we go out to do home visits. Sometimes we get the privilege of telling people about Jesus for the first time, and other times we encourage and pray over those who are already saved.

God’s been using us in some pretty awesome ways! We’ve covered Hindu temples in prayer, loved on beggars who spend their lives being unseen and unnoticed, preached the gospel on the streets and seen people give their lives to Jesus, and even saw a man be healed of long term aliments! God continues to show me how big He is, and how He wants every heart to be drawn to His, and how He will spare no cost to make that happen. After all we’ve seen and experienced already, I eagerly wait in expectation of some more incredible ways He will continue to move here in Nepal!
