What?

The World Race is an eleven month journey around the world to share the love and message of Jesus Christ. During the time I’m on the field, I will spend one month in each country. While there, I will be with other people doing all sorts of stuff. This includes teaching, praying for people, building relationships, and all sorts of other things.

Why?

The simple answer? Jesus. The whole goal of the World Race is to make His name known. God makes it absolutely clear in His scriptures for our call to minister to all nations. I want to see lives changed. That kind of transformation only happens through a relationship with Jesus Christ. I know that our mission on this earth is to glorify God. The World Race is just one of the ways to do that.

Where?

Albania & Romania & Malawi & Zambia & Cambodia & Thailand & Malaysia & Ecuador & Bolivia & Peru & Chile.

Expectations?

What a loaded question.

I expect to see people brought to their knees before the Creator. I expect myself to be brought to my knees.

I expect God to use each and every person to make an impact for His kingdom.

I expect to be radically broken in ways that I have never understood for the sake of the Gospel.

I expect to develop a crazy world view that is going to change my life and how I approach my first world lifestyle.

I expect to get over my distaste of bugs and maybe even embrace them. Okay, I’m never gonna do that. But all for hoping, right?

I expect to just love – when it’s easy, when it’s hard, when it seems to be basically impossible.
