There was a time in my life when I didn’t understand how being intentional with the Love of Jesus Christ to others could change a life. Last month, I had the honor to serve women in hostels who sold them self night after night. Jesus laid it on my heart to chase after these women and look at them, see them where they are and show them a true love that only Jesus can give.
There were many times I walked past and did not go in and sit, there were multiple days I did not feel like getting out because as I told you before it was dark in Batumi and it rained ALL. THE. TIME. However, the connection that I did make with them was something I will always treasure.
By the end of the month after sitting with them multiple times and having chi or coffee talking about life, I was able to connect them to a sweet wonderful lady and her family who are missionaries there. We invited them to a women’s Bible study and they came and are continuing to go to the Bible study! They are being fed the Word of God and being shown the truest of love that can only come from our heavenly father.
On valentines day, I received this picture. My heart was overwhelmed with emotions that I can’t describe. This is my missionary friends little girl and the two women that stole my heart last month, Lena and Anna. They bought them flowers for Valentines day and sat and talked with them. Being intentional with the love of Jesus Christ can and will change lives.
Zephaniah 3:17 “The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”
