. . . Talking about myself . . .
has not been a problem
So let’s get the basics covered, I was born and raised in Houston, TX. My family truly has been a gift from God–By no means are we perfect, but they have provided a wall of love that surrounds me, let me fail in order to find strength through grace, and a friendship in the most raw form. I have three brothers, whom, I adore and admire. . .though, we are all very different people. I recently graduated from The University of Texas @ Austin and I am currently looking for a new hobby. I was good at school. . God is so good-he filled that void of purpose REAL fast. . haha
Young Life was the ministry God used to change my life and I will forever be apart of this incredible organization, “To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some” 1 cor. 9:22 . . . This is what Young Life represents to me, what a great depiction of Christ!
I truly look forward to this opportunity I am about to begin. I am encouraged by God’s word daily and let me be honest, I am scared. I am scared to find myself in a moment of brokenness, a life changing moment where I realize, I cannot go back to the life in which I previously lived . . a single moment that everything I’ve known and valued as important is changed. Change. That is scary.
