I have fallen in love with this place. . . .
The visions for the ministry and the community of people are incredible. . .
I wanted to share with you what our days look like here in Darwin. . . .
Mondays: Base clean-up from 8 AM – about 12 Noon. . then we cook Lunch for the base. . . Teach for about 2 hours in the afternoon and we are done around 4PM
Tuesdays: Base worship from 8:30AM-11AM, Then Lunch, and the guys head off to feed the hungry, and the girls head to a bible study at the Long Grass Mansion ( I LOVE THIS PLACE)
Wednesday: We head to a different area of town and have a BBQ in the AM for the aboriginals and we give them food and spend time with them, after that we do a bit of prayer walking and then we are in charge of dinner for the base.
Thursdays: We have been painting rooms for a church and doing reconstruction there as well, and the guys head to the boys detention center and Carrie and I go to bible study at the Long Grass Mansion (LGM)
Friday: DAY OFF. . . which allows me to sleep in. . so I wake up at 9ish and rest, read, and recharge all day. . sometimes that looks like swimming in our pool . . who knows!
