An ounce of obedience.
That’s all it takes.
If God nudges, simply say yes and He does the rest.
Sitting on the plane on the way home from training camp.
Totally tempted to just zone out and sleep.
Instead, God says, “tell the man sitting next to you a story.”
I glance over at him.
He looks so uninterested in anything I’d have to say.
But I say yes to God and lean over and ask, “want to hear a cool story?”
He looks confused, but complies.
I proceed to tell him one of the many beautiful truths God revealed to me this past week at camp.
From there we talk about Christian yoga.
And then the need for people to simplify their minds and be present.
The need to not plan for tomorrow.
The need not to worry.
And then…we talk about Jesus.
He tells me his interest in Jesus and the lifestyle of Christ followers.
Was it the most epic conversation of my life?
No.
Did I plant love seeds into the heart of one of God’s children?
Yes.
It’s simple really.
Listen to people.
Love them.
Step out in faith.
And trust you’ve done your part and Jesus will do the rest.
