I’m angry.
At myself, at my generation, at everyone really.
The more I talk to people about important topics (i.e.: Abortion, Physician Assisted Suicide, etc), the more I’ve realized that we’ve put God in a pretty little box that we call “morals” and/or “human rights”.
We’ve lost the God of the Bible.
We’ve not just eaten the forbidden fruit, but made a pie company out of it and we sell it to everyone we know.
We think that God went from a fedora, to a tailored suit, to bell bottoms, to windbreaker pants, to hipster glasses, microbrew in hand.
That He changed with us.
That His morals and beliefs somehow changed, because we have as a culture and society.
“Yeah, but if a girl is raped…Abortion is okay. She shouldn’t have to be reminded of the man who raped her. And inconvenienced. It would be really hard for her.”
Belgium passes a law that makes child euthanasia okay in the cases of terminally ill children, with parental convent.
“Yeah, but if the child is in a lot of pain, and suffering…it doesn’t seem right to make them go through that. Morally, its a terrible thing. They should have the right to decide for themselves if they should be euthanized or not.”
“Yeah, but, I love him. So sex is okay…I mean, we’re going to get married…so it’s kind of the same, right?”
Or in India, its:
“Yeah, but this baby is deformed. I can’t have a deformed baby. It’s better off dying here in this dumpster.”

“Yeah, but this child is paralyzed. And an inconvenience. I’ll just leave it here on the street. It’ll figure it out.”
“Yeah, but this child will live without his arm…I’ll just cut it off, so that we can get more money from rich americans who pity him right outside the Hard Rock Café.
“Yeah, but”

“Yeah, but”
NO. It’s like saying, “Yeah, God, I know what you say…but You died for me. So I’m technically forgiven right? So I feel like this should be, do, or feel a certain way because my emotions tell me it should be like this.”
I’m guilty of this thought.
Guys, hear this. Satan LOVES pulling our heartstrings to the things of this world.
Satan uses love.
Satan uses guilt.
Satan uses fear.
Satan uses pity.
Satan uses YOU.
Do you see that he has an agenda? It’s not to annoy God, or to just be a pain, no.
ITS TO DESTROY US.
And he is using our emotions to do it!
The enemy is destined for eternity in hell, and he’s trying to take as many as he can with him on the way down.
The enemy loves when you look God in the face, hear the truth, and still say “Yeah, but my emotions tell me that You wouldn’t ever want that for us, so I’m going to assume my emotions are correct”.
You’re right. He doesn’t want it for us. But WE are the ones that screwed up. And are sinful.
LET HIM WORK. We have ZERO right to play god!
Murder is wrong. PERIOD. No if's, ands, or buts. Yet we like to say : “Murder is wrong…unless it’s rape, or if they’re suffering, or…or…or”.
It doesn’t say that in the Bible.

“You shall not murder."
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 ESV
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Psalm 34:17-20 ESV
When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.
Sex outside of marriage, is wrong. PERIOD. No if’s, ands, or buts. Yet we like to say : “Sex outside of marriage is wrong…unless you really love him…or are engaged…or…or…or.”
It doesn’t say that in the Bible.
1 Corinthians 7 : 1-40 ESV
Now concerning the matters about which you wrote: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.” But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.
Hebrews 13 : 4 ESV
Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.
Ephesians 5 : 5 ESV
For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

Wake up America.
There are no “buts” with the Lord. There is only black and white. What God has ordained, is what God has planned. We need to stop using our emotions as an excuse to do whatever we want…”because it’s the 21st century. God would understand.”
Jesus didn’t die on then Cross so that you can justify your sin. He died to save you from it and to give you the example of what you SHOULD do daily. Which is to take up your cross and be Christ-like.
Bottom line. God is love. And He loves us. And How dare we manipulate His words to how we feel they should be.
Get in the word.
Read what He says.
Line them up with what you believe right now.
Do they match up?
Some of mine didn’t.
I’m willing to bet some of yours don’t either.
If you are offended by this blog, I want you to please reread this, over and over again. Check your heart. Because Satan is using your emotions, yet again, to try and blot out the truth in these words.
