Welcome to my blog! I’m excited to share my experiences and how God is working through my team and I over the next 11 months!
My name is Britney and I was born and raised in Brookfield, WI (suburb of Milwaukee). I went to Valparaiso University where I studied civil engineering and Spanish and I currently work as a civil engineer in Chicago.
I enjoy traveling, trying new things, playing sports (volleyball, swimming, cycling, walking, water skiing, soccer, tennis, etc.) and spending quality time with friends and family. I cherish pictures because I like looking back at memories and because they can explain more than I can express in words.
I asked a few friends to describe me and they came up with sensitive, caring, spunky, loyal, organized, sassy (hopefully in a good way), respectful, smiley, friendly, adventurous, hardworking and curious.
A fun fact about me is that I loved going back to school only because I loved shopping for and buying new school supplies. I was a very organized, color-coded kid in school. Yeah, I was a bit weird.
