Every World Racer needs support, whether it’s through words of encouragement, finances, etc. Listed below are 5 easy ways you can help support your World Racer through their world race.
1. Prayer and Words of Encouragement
Each team will be traveling a lot and interacting with a LOT of different people. They will need prayers for safety, both in country and when traveling, and for building relationships and sharing the gospel with the people they meet.
This journey can be burdensome and uncomfortable at times, so sending words of encouragement through an email or a comment on a blog post will brighten any racer’s day.
2. Donate to Adventures in Missions (Tax- Deductible)
Every racer needs to raise money in order to go on the world race, for me that is a whomping $17,000! This money covers travel, training costs, food, lodging, and other group expenses from the time the team leaves in January to when they arrive back in the U.S. in November. There are two ways to give financially to your world racer.

3. Help Purchase GEAR from REI
Every world racer needs to purchase various camping equipment that they will use throughout the year including tents, sleeping mats, sleeping bags, etc. If you would like to help purchase equipment check out their registry.

4. Donate Directly to a World Racer (Non Tax-Deductible)
Each world racer is going to have additional expenses above and beyond the program costs. These expenses include gear, vaccinations, travel to and from training/launch, and personal spending money while on the race. Consider directly donating to a world racer to help cover these costs.

5. Spread the Word!
Most world racers’ networks of people aren’t big enough to raise all the funds needed to go. You can help by spreading the word!
Share a world racers’ blog and support letter with your family members, friends, churches, neighbors, etc.
