I am a firm believer in the development of relationships with people. There is nothing that I love more than really getting to know a person, their story, and all they have to offer. During the World Race I will have the amazing opportunity to serve alongside so many beautiful women of God for nine whole months to Guatemala, Ethiopia, and Thailand! It’s something really special to travel with women who are just as passionate about Jesus and people as I am. Together we will learn more about Jesus, more about others, more about our faith, and more about who we really are and how we will continue our lives after the World Race.
I feel more than blessed to be involved with an organization that takes young adults, like myself, and centers them in countries that are in need. On a daily basis I will be able to interact with all sorts of people coming from different ethnicities, ideologies, and backgrounds. How cool is that not only will we be providing help to all these people but also spreading the love and word of God. This experience will open my eyes and mind in ways I can’t even imagine.
I believe that my passion for Jesus will only become stronger on this trip. I know the love of Jesus and all that it can do, which makes me even more excited to see all the Jesus has to offer in these countries I will be serving. Jesus loves deeply and widely and this is something I want to really share with all the people I will be meeting throughout my time overseas.
