FULLY FUNDED!!!
I want to start by saying a HUGE thank you to everyone who partnered with me and helped me get fully funded!! I have been waiting so long to write this blog and it is finally here!! As of this morning, I am officially fully funded!!! The Lord has provided me with $16,600 over this past year that I have been fundraising!!!
Raising this money has allowed me to partner with so many people and has opened my eyes to the generosity of the people around me! I had countless supporters from home and even from friends who are on the field with me!! One of my closest friends, who is here on the field with me, family decided to donate the rest of what I needed over the course of December and January and it just warmed my heart. So a big thank you to you sweet people. I was surprised over and over by the generosity and love that was coming my way. With each person who donated from $1 to $700, you all each touched my heart by showing that you believed in me and in what God is gonna do with this Kingdom’s journey.
All of this money goes to spreading the Kingdom of Jesus and I am now understanding more clearly why the Lord had me continue fundraising until the very end of the time I had to fundraise. God wanted me to be able to share the amazing things that He has done in Guatemala and how it doesn’t just stop there. He continues to do so many amazing things here in Ethiopia. God wanted others to read my blogs and to choose into being obedient and giving to God’s plans. The Father wanted me to continue trusting in Him and believing that yes He will provide and it will be in His own time. I had to patiently wait and continue serving with full trust. So much character was developed. Man, I am so grateful Father for how you have taught me to patiently wait and trust in you.
I really just want to say thank you to all of you for being obedient and giving the Lord your bold yes to donate and spread the Kingdom of Jesus. Here in Ethiopia, your money is doing more than I ever thought it could. Your money allows us to pour into the women here and teach them life skills, gives education to the kids here, gives kids clothes and supplies, allows us to bring life back to the land around us, and even lets a well continue to overflow with water for the entire community and not just the children’s village that we are helping out at. Your money is allowing the Kingdom of Jesus to spread to places that need hope and the love of Jesus. Your money doesn’t stop when my time here on the race ends but it will continue living on in the kids, women, and men who I and my squad got to spread the love of Jesus too.
