Hello! I am currently preparing to go on an 11 month mission trip with Adventures in Missions! The countries we will be serving are: Haiti, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, India, Nepal, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and Uganda! Our launch date is January 2018. During this time we will minister specifically where each country has a need which can include working with human trafficking victims, teaching English, or volunteering in orphanages. It is my desire to bring hope and peace to hurting and broken people.

I have traveled both for missions and because I love this wonderful world we live in (and its inhabitants)! What a great creation!

I rock climb, ski, write, read, and take pictures. If someone asks me “what I do,” I am inclined to answer with one of these because I believe we are more than the sum total of our jobs. That being said, I have had the pleasure of working with people, because they are my passion. In the past years I’ve worked with students with autism and other learning differences, as well as adults with traumatic brain injuries. I’ve been given the opportunity to touch lives through day-to-day interactions.

My heart is to love people and remind them there is something to live for every day. Too often people feel forgotten or abandoned. During this trip, it is my prayer we bring hope to many regions of the world.

Stay tuned as I will be updating my blog to reflect the preparation and progress of the trip! Please “subscribe” on the left hand side of the page to receive an email update when I post. Thanks for joining me on this journey!
