Hey Everyone…sorry the blogs have been few and far between! I promise they are on thier way! 🙂
I’m preparing for the Race…only about a month and a half until I leave. I’ll be flying out of Texas on December 31 and meeting up with my team to celebrate the new year and begin our journey on January 6. Lot’s of emotions, thoughts, experiences and people are on my mind at the moment. As i begin to gear up and realize that this is actually coming into place – I find that my world is being turned up side down (in a good way). I’m thinking daily of the difference of my day to day starting in 2 months. I’m focused on the faces of the people that I’ll meet and all of the places I’ll see. I’m thinking of my friends, family and church family and how much I will miss the life they bring into me. I think of experiences that God will show up in the middle of. I think of how much I will grow and how much I will learn throughout this next year. I think of driving my own car and sleeping on my down mattress for only the next 2 months. It’s a whirlwind of change. Luckily…I’ve always been a girl that loves change.
I get to spend the next year of my life with such an amazing group of people. I had never meet them before a few months ago when we all meet in August for training. Since i will be spending day in and day out of my life when them….i wanted to introduce you to them (via pictures) 🙂 When you think of me…think of these people…When you say a prayer for me…say a prayer for them. I truly believe God has put this team together to do amazing things….
