I found this blog post I had written a couple of years ago and felt an urge to share it, so here it is, a bit revamped and made current.

I can just see Him.
There He is, waiting. Anticipating the moment. The moment when His people come alive.
Not just part of the way, like we are, but full blast-tenth gear-to infinity and beyond, alive.
He pleads with them, every single day. "Wake up child, come alive."… "Come and be who I made you to be."…Still, He calls out. "Do you hear me? Are you listening to my voice?"…"I love you, more than you could ever fathom."…And questions, "Why? Why will you not give your all to me?"…"Am I not good enough for you?"…"I AM is not enough?"…"You know who I am, but you do not know me. Because if youknew me, you would know who I am."
Now is the time people. We as the Church have wasted enough time beating around the bush, living the "Christian" life. It's time for us to truly realize and understand who this man, Jesus Christ is and why He came and did what He did here on earth in those 33 years. It's time for us to rise up and take our place as a people who exemplify Christ in ALL we do. Not just in some parts of our lives, but in every single area, down to last minuscule part.
Remember the freedom you have. Think about what you have seen and heard God do; miracles, answered prayers, and the list goes on forever. How can we not praise Him every second we breathe! He is so great, so Holy, so beyond everything we know, there is none like Him! When I start thinking of Him and talking about Him I feel as if every part of my being is about to EXPLODE because I cannot contain it! He is so mighty, I crumble in His presence, in awestruck, humbled love.
We have become so accustomed to the routine of our lives, especially in the States, and in even more so here in the 'Bible Belt' of of the country. We go about our week with our families, we work, and we go to church, and we do it all over again. Week, after week, after week. But what about those weeks? We have to count every day as precious, and priceless! We are living in a dying and sick world, even right around where we live. We must seek the face of God and ask Him to cleanse our hearts and hands every single day of our lives. And pray and look for opportunity to be light and share this great and amazing love we have found.
If you knew a way to cure cancer, would you simply write it down and keep in to yourself and not tell anyone about it? Would you really not go and tell doctors about it, when with that millions and MILLIONS of people could not be sick anymore?
It is the SAME way with the gospel; Jesus is the answer to everything. He is the Healer, and He heals broken lives and hearts every day. Now, He will get it done one way or another, because His work will be done. But I don't know about you, I don't want to see Him face-to-face in glory one day and have Him ask me why I didn't share the hope I had found. Why I didn't want to share His great love that is big enough for everyone, with every person I came across. Listen, there are people headed for the pits of hell right now, and we must do everything that we possibly can to share with them about this Man who came and took their place to save them from that.
But in order for this to happen, you must first be FULLY surrendered. Live prayerfully. Be sensitive to the Spirit's leading. And be BOLD, do not be afraid of what other people think or would say – because in the end, the only one who has a say in anything is the Lord God Almighty. You want to be in the right place with Him, not other people. Proverbs 29:25 says, "Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe." It is a SNARE. And I know that for a fact, because I had been stuck in that snare for years and years. But no longer am I caught in that, I am free. And so can you. Step out, and do not be afraid. If our God is for us, than who can be against us?
Be encouraged today friends, but know that this is serious, and the truth. What will you do with this today? Will you TRULY take it to heart and LIVE IT? Or read it, not take it in FULL seriousness, and go on about your day. What do you have you have to lose? Well, everything. But it's worth it.
Think about it.

And this is why I am doing what I am doing this coming year, this is what motivates me to GO. Glory to you Jesus for how you shape us into vessels for you and thank you for your Spirit that moves us to action!
