I look up to you for so many reasons. Your commitment to the Lord’s work is inspiring and I learn something new from you every day about the character and life of Jesus. In you I see a man who seeks first the kingdom and His righteousness, and for that you will be greatly rewarded by your Heavenly Father. You have a special and unconditional generosity that I have never seen in anyone else, and I am continually amazed and encouraged by your passion for service, evangelism, prayer, and the Word. Thank you for your intentionality in pursuing me and for trusting me as your friend and teammate. I am so blessed by your presence in my life!

When I prayed for the Lord to give me a sister this year, He gave me you. You are incredible. I cannot thank you enough for the laughter and joy that you have brought into my life, and for the rawness and vulnerability that you have brought out in our team. Your hunger for Jesus and for His Word is contagious, and when I look at you, I see a boldness and a fire that cannot be tamed– one that will spread and attract the lost, broken, and self-righteous from all parts of this earth. YOU carry light and love of the Lord, and I feel so privileged to get to share this journey with you and watch as He reveals Himself to you, day by day, month by month, molding you and transforming your heart into the shape of His very own. Thank you for loving me so well, for always praying over me, and for sticking by my side through these past few months. You mean the world to me and I am so grateful for you!

What an amazing woman you are. Never have I met anyone who pursues the Lord like you do with such desire, trust, and passion… and never have I met anyone with so much unconditional love and joy in their heart that just daily overflows and fills the hearts of those around them. You are truly a beautiful reflection of your Maker, and our team has been so incredibly blessed by your wisdom, compassion, love, joy, and patience. Thank you for cultivating the fruits of the Spirit among our team and for daily challenging me to look beyond myself to see the needs of those around me. I am proud to call you my sister in Christ and to have to opportunity to grow alongside of you this year!

It’s hard for me to articulate just how much you mean to me and how radically you have impacted my heart and my life, but I am going to try my best. You are such an incredible servant leader and mentor, and the most humble, down to earth, fun-loving, well-balanced person I have ever met. Every day has been a beautiful adventure with you on my team– whether that be physically, emotionally, relationally, or spiritually, you make my days brighter and fill them will laughter, depth, new perspective, and a renewed love for people, life and learning. Thank you for investing in me, and for being such an incredible big sister, friend, teammate, and daughter of the King.

In you I have found the purest and truest type of friend—one that has become my sister. The way you love and care for others is truly amazing, and I have learned so much from you about selflessness, generosity, service, gentleness, and family. You have such an enormous heart for others and you always see their needs before your own which is exactly what Jesus does. I admire your hunger and perseverance in seeking the Lord and pressing in even on the days when it’s hard. You have been an endless source of encouragement, love, and beautiful friendship for me over these past four months and I honestly couldn’t imagine going through this journey without you by my side. Thank you for loving me, for caring for me, and for always pointing me back to Jesus.
Dear Rafael,
The Lord has written His story all over your life, and I feel so blessed that He brought the two of us together this year (ever since day 1 in the airport) to learn from one another and to have fellowship as brothers and sisters in Christ. I have loved watching you lead our team by serving… Seeing your intentionality with each of us, as well as the way you empower us to lead in our own way has taught me so much about Jesus and His character, and I am daily encouraged and challenged by the image of Christ I see reflected in your life. Thank you for your boldness, your patience, your fun loving spirit, your heart for missions, and for the incredible example of Christ you are to all those who cross your path.
