Here is how it works!
Each vote costs $5. You choose how many votes, which you are voting for (SAVE or SHAVE), and then at the end of the month, I will either save my hair, or shave my head… depending on YOUR votes! I know what some of you are thinking… Is she crazy?? And the answer is… well, a little 🙂
This wasn’t just a spur of the moment decision for me though. I’ve been praying about it for a few months, and really feel the Lord asking me to give up the right to myself… The “right” I think I have to consider myself beautiful based on outward appearance. Jesus looks at the heart of a person, so why is it so hard for us to do the same for our brothers and sisters and family in Christ?
LADIES!!Our worth is found in the beautiful attributes that the Lord has placed WIHTIN us… A heart of compassion, the gift of hospitality, the tenderness and warmth of a mother figure, the strength and dignity of a woman after God’s own heart, the boldness of a disciple of Christ, the ability to empathize and sympathize with others, the desire to care for others, the gift of redirecting and disciplining with a gentle spirit, a listening ear… the list goes on.
You are beautiful because the Lord made you that way! HE MADE YOU IN HIS IMAGE! ANd trust me, there is nothing more beautiful than our King. SO what does that make you?
