There is a song I've been listening to this week called "Brokennes Aside" and it goes like this…

As I listen to the words of truth spoken through this song, I am reminded that, YES, I am a sinner. Every single day I will fail, I will fall short, and I will turn my face away from my Creator. I will make mistakes. I will have doubts. I will be unfaithful to Him. I will be tempted… I will bend, and I will break.
But here comes the beautiful part.
Our God is a God of healing and restoration… of mercy and grace… of forgiveness and unconditional love. And none of these characteristics of God are dependent on us. He is who He is… always, for eternity. He is unchanging.
He is, and will forever be, a God who takes the brokenness of our lives… the imperfections, the mistakes, the failures, and the hurt… and He makes it all beautiful.
You are beautiful because He has made you that way, and through the broken pieces of your life He will shine His light and make His love and healing known to the world. <3
