My team has had the pleasure of befriending Laura this month. She's living here in Rwanda long term and volunteering at a special needs orphanage, which she invited us to visit on Thursday. We had an amazing time playing with the kids and helping Laura organize a slip n' slide. The kids weren't too sure about it at first, but after a while, they got into it.
Being there brought me right back to India and reminded me that children from every country and background all need the same thing: love.
