In 10 days, I will be celebrating my 26th birthday here in Moldova.  There are a lot of things I could say that I want, especially during this very cold month.  Like warm boots, a Japanese heated carpet, a large canister of Tim Horton’s English Toffee Cappuccino and a pumpkin to carve.

But really, all I want is to be able to stay here, on the World Race, bringing God’s kingdom in any way that I can.  I want to continue to build relationships with gypsy children and Moldovan orphans, sing praise and worship songs in English when everyone else is singing in a different language, pray for pastors of churches that have 25 members, design brochures to bring new missionaries to ministries who desperately need them and take photos of every single beautiful thing/person/place that I see.  I want keep spending hours at night with my teammates, laughing about our ridiculous experiences, crying about ministries we’ve left behind and pouring into each other to become the men and women that God has intended us to be.  I want to go on to countries with new languages, new challenges, new toilets (always the most interesting part of traveling), new food and new people to minister to.

And to be able to do all of those things, to continue to be stretched and molded and challenged and broken, I need your help.  By December 1, I need to have $10,500 in my support account.  I currently have $7,400

So, as my birthday approaches, think of me, won’t you?  And take that money you would have spent on a gift and put it into my support account.  It’s easy, really – just click the “Support Me!” link on the left side of the page and wish me a very happy Moldovan birthday with a contribution.  You don’t have to worry about whether or not I’ll like it, or if it’s the right size or color or if I’ll have to return it later.  I can guarantee you it might just be the very best birthday gift I’ve ever received.  And I promise you I’ll pay it forward, here in Moldova and to the very ends of the earth.

(Also, a shoutout goes to my mom, who is celebrating her birthday today!  I'm pretty sure all she wants for her birthday is contributions to my support account as well…just sayin').
