You people who have Always been in church, grew up in the church and left, have done mission work, helped at Vacation Bible School, sung cheery little annoying "christianese" songs in the past (not hatin), and have a general sense of what MANY Christians will tell you WHY They Love Jesus and the "Good News".
What I am about to tell you hit me like a Brick Wall. I've actually already hinted on it. It's a refreshing "revelation" Andrew Shearman has even shared in past classes, yet this time Ted Hanson is here to blow our minds. Andrew has shared; It is that Heaven's not the Destination, it's a Blessing. Kingdom and King is. What does that EXACTLY mean?! I'll share a little later.
So, Ted told us:
Jesus died for my sins — Not the good news. Jesus reconnecting us to God is the Good News…..

Eventually I calmed down, and was able to piece this to what Andrew has said before.
here's the deal, people are so focused on the 1 thing of Jesus dying for them so they'll get to go to Heaven when we Die. Guess what, there's a lot more to it than THAT.
We have a mandate from God. It's to multiply, be fruitful, subdue and take dominion. The Kingdom. It's inside every single one of us. Yes.
WOAH! Red flag for many people here! The idea that a piece of God is already inside them? Yes. He made you. The worse thing for anyone to do is to reject their Identity of what God has made them to be. I.E. Lucifer.
We "Bring Kingdom" out of people. Discipling and spreading the "GOSPEL"…which is simply Good News. Not all these laws, rules, and stupid requirements. Imagine, a God Needing us…humans. To go around this earth Because He wants to, wanted us to, asks us to do so, and knew this was going to happen at the beginning of Time.
Ok, I realize I like to use quirky/catchy meme's.
Think about it. Jesus as a man, didn't really know fully he was going to literally die on the cross. Was he? Eventually he figured it out. He was faithful, fulfilled Every Single Prophecy about him, and yes made a way for us to ReConnect with GOD again!
Jesus = Our Mediator.
I'm Still going over this in my head and spirit of how Jesus didn't know he was going to be literally sacrificed for us, came as God in a man, Jesus dying isn't the good news, us able to go to heaven later isn't still the great news, and then the ability of Jesus to connect us back with the Heavenly Father is the good news. Ugh. It can be a lot, but the scripture is there to back it up how He literally and most definitely Loves us.
Still confused and have no clue what I'm talking about? It's ok, just ask God for discernment and maybe a dream.
