Well, spiritual warfare is everywhere, but I Can definitely say it feels like being on the frontlines in a middle of nowhere Indian village that is strictly Hindu. The scorching 100 degree heat, crazy savage dogs roaming around, having spicy foods and white rice 95% of the time, having a horrible music being played screechingly loud at Midnight and 5:30 A.M. several times of the week, and just so many other “India” things which are factors of what makes our stay difficult at times. However, it all makes it a once in a lifetime experience that we won`t ever forget.

Fighting back creeping thoughts of doubt, uncertainty, and not knowing Exactly what to say are a common…for me. As Christians we must be able to go forward and put ourselves in situations where all we can do and say are what is on our hearts and minds of who God is. These people have never heard of Jesus or the Gospel. Trying to sometimes figure out what and how to say things for them to understand and become more interested in what a personal relationship is with God is slighty challenging, but good. Even thought I can`t “feel” Him when I go out and interact with the people, I know I`m doing what He wants me to do. Why else would he have sent us there?

Reading the book of Acts while being out here is definitely Ironic in a way. I compare the stories of the guys and their challenges and ministry to ours at times. I question if they ever got tired of saying the same thing over and over again. Maybe a little tired, but not for how Powerful it is of what we know and can share with this World. Even in their persecution they rejoiced and continued sharing how awesome God is.

The people tell us that they would like proof of this God we know, that they will believe in Jesus if their son is healed, that they won`t come to believing in Jesus since they are listening to some evil spirits (yes, we pray against that immediately), that they accept who Jesus is but won`t leave their idols/gods, and several other interesting conversations. There are always opportunities for us to pray for them whether it is for healing, their crops, or whatever. The villagers are so nice to us, and they have accepted for the most part who this God and Jesus we speak of.

The Enemy knows of our presence and has tried to come at us, be we aren`t letting his stupid tactics stop us. We already know and believe that we are Winning and Will Win, since God IS Victorious. The harvest is plentiful, and the workers are few. There are thousands of other villages just like the one we are in that haven`t even heard of a God who is above All and wants a personal relationship with each of us. We are being His vessels in this village. The Kingdom of God is being Brought down to this Place…not by out Words or Tongues, but through Actions and Truth.

We have one more week remaining with this village. We have already made wonderful relationships with many of the people in it (there is about 200 or so total people by the way). Please pray for us as a team/unit for protection as we go out in this village and “fight” the Enemy. Pray that we will be able to call each of our teammates to greatness is the tough and trying times as we go through with this ministry. It`s been a Huge blessing just being there and already able to seesome “fruit” from us being there and how God is working more and more.

In a previous blog I explain the situation of this village and how we are doing this partnership with I.C.M. We haven`t yet raised the $2,000 for a temporary church in this village, and if you or a bible study group would like to…please pray and consider. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated. CLICK HERE for more info on I.C.M. and to donate. Many thanks. I will be back with more stories and info. of our random adventures in the land of India, haha. Have a Great Day!
