Voodoo Momma JuJu

I literally had culture shock coming here.  Doesn’t sound like a big deal, but mentally I was thinking this was just going to happen upon returning to America…not Europe. Being in Europe after being in Asia and Africa for 9 months will throw anyone in for a loop.  It blew my mind at how Different it was.  So many white people first of all…haha.  Not being stared at like crazy, Real structured buildings, CLEAN environments, well maintained roads and transportation systems, and the good food.  Most of all, it was definitely the people that makes it a shock.  The choice of dress here in Ukraine is ridiculous (that’s the best way I could describe it).

Women wearing Booty shorts, 3+ inch stilettos like they’re in a club, really tight fitting shirts so their boobs and bellies pop out (haha), and crazy stuff like this woman above.  Even older women dress in really tight outfits to try and look younger…yet they fail pretty badly.  Men wearing really short shorts, adidas or nike apparell as if they’re in some futbol match, tight fitting collared shirts like the preppy boys in America but even more, and speedo wearing in Public….oh my.

These fine fellows were quite intoxicated at the time…and entertaining too.

Yet again, we’re in a whole ‘nother country, continent, and culture.  The people are Sooo much more quiet than the Nepalese.  It’s almost eerie, because there’s no horns going off, nobody is shouting at each other, there’s no deranged animals laying or walking across the road, or anything else.  It’s like Normal…which is what we Haven’t experienced in a Long time (heck, what is Normal these days?).  At the same time, it’s pleasant but a little boring too, but the scantily clad and outrageous outfits make up for that to entertain us while in public.
