I don’t know exactly what it is, but I know that Satan is trying to keep my team down.  Since being here in Uganda, it’s been as if Satan’s trying to keep us sick and feeling down and not wanting to go out and do what we’re here for.  Guess What?  We’re fighting it.  We’re binding up and Casting Satan out every day.  I am asking for a prayer from anyone who reads this for my teammates and I.  I have not been attacked yet meaning I’m still healthy and sleep well at nights, and it’s kind of making me a little nervous.

Taylor has had these nightmares every night basically since we’ve been here, and it’s causing him to get very little sleep during the night.  So, during the day he’s not entirely there at times (said with love).

Amy L. hasn’t been able to sleep well either.  It’s been quite warm here in Uganda, and the stiffness in the heat is causing her to lose sleep and just to simply let her body rest.  She’s unable to get a full night of rest.  She was feeling a little sick this past weekend, but has been feeling much better since then.

Jennilee has just found out that her malaria she contracted in Kenya has come back and even stronger.  The medicine she’s on it quite strong, but she’s recovering quite well.  She has to sit in a clinic for 3 hours to let the medicine get into her via an IV.

Christina has had a bug bite on her ankle since the Philippines (that’s 6 months ago), and finally got it treated. It was definitely infected and inflamed.  It’s been treated and is looking much better.  However, her and Stefan both have malaria and are exhausted everyday.  They are getting better day by day.

Stefan has a bump on one of his face for a few days now.  In the beginning we thought it to be just a pimple of some sort, but it definitely isn’t.  It’s what we think to be some sort of spider or bug bite that has gotten sickly infected.  It’s made his whole entire left side of his face swollen and it hurts for him to even eat, talk, and look with his eyes.  Along with the malaria, he’s been pretty out of it.  Both him and Christina hardly ever get sick so this is rare.  They both look the past few days as if they’ve been in some war-zone…not kidding.

In Taylor’s and I bedroom we had a rat come visit us, and for an hour we finally got it out of the door of the bedroom into the yard.  It certainly was a crazy night and I might put a small video up later of this occurrence.

As for me…I’m completely healthy and everything.  It does make me question “Why me?”.  Like why am I not affected…yet, and I sit and watch my teammates suffer.  Satan certainly is trying to shut us down, but it’s not gonna work.  We’re still going to go through with our ministry and go around Bringing the Kingdom.  The people here are So Welcoming and the children are amazing…They speak English!!! This is wonderful, because it makes it so easy for us to communicate and interact with more people.

I ask for prayer.  Please tell your friends, folks, or bible study groups.  We could use it.  Much appreciation from Uganda!
