This thought runs through my mind, because in everyday life I try to put myself in other people’s shoes around me. For those who even take a glimpse at these blogs, I begin to think that’s what a few folks Might come across their own thought process.
Let me get this across with my intention’s for this Trip. IT’s NOT about Me, never has. It’s more of about How God Works THROUGH ME to affect Those Around ME. It’s sometimes even a mind game that if one thinks about their purpose in LIFE, you could get confused…like me. Well my friends, God made sure there were PLENTY of examples and passages of scripture in the bible to relate to any & everybody.
The point I’m getting to is that as Christian’s we are TOLD to Go and Make Disciples of ALL NATIONS. It’s a pretty BIG Deal to God How as a True Christian goes about their Livelihood acted, saying, behaving, and more in Christ Like ACTIONS. I think a Real Christian Strives to do their Best as Possible to Share God’s Truth & Love to those in this World. Yea some days we aren’t always the best, we say “I’ll do it another time”, or even maybe “HOW could I be an Effective Christian to Those Around me?”.
Hey guess what? I think the same things too ok!? However, it’s the Action we want to Do and See! We just Hear of people and stories of things that happen overseas or in other cities of God’s Amazement & Wonder! YOU can do the same thing, but it takes one who is willing to stick their Neck out and Not Care what Society Thinks of them.
My, I guess if you want to call it, Theme Verse is Luke 10:2 He told them, “The harvest
is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest,
therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. I remember from my trip to India 4 years ago of a statistic, which says that 1 in about 25,000 CHRISTIANS Go and participate in some sort of “missions”. Now I don’t know about you, but that’s pretty PATHETIC. Luke 10:2 is NOT the ONLY verse in the Bible that God is telling us to Go Forth and share what we Have Received!
Lets see, If you really want to Read MORE about this what about ACTS? Not to come off as a jerk, but there’s a Reason why It’s called Acts…not “Procrastination”. What Paul and the other guys in that book do are Prime Example’s of People Doing what God Told them to do. Yet we Hesitate and think “HOW”? HOW is a “Faithless Question” WHAT is a better question…like What Makes YOU Come Alive..FOR CHRIST? God smiles when we do Things In HIS Name, and I as a Christian Love Pleasing the Lord.
So Maybe you’re thinking, Great, What God Would You have me DO!?!?!? You may be stuck in an office all day, go to a boring college, sit in a high school day after day, and etc. Man, Just be NICE to people is a Great start. When was the last time you sat down with someone random You didn’t know in a cafeteria and carry on a conversation and showed you at Least cared in some way? I did this TONS of times in College, and I have random people who became friends that can testify.
God calls US in small ways to even Our Home surroundings. Yea I could do Tons of what I’m doing on the World Race in the United States. However, I have my reasons and felt Called for Wanting to Go and Leave to some place I have No Clue what God has for me waiting, and I bet it’s gonna be full of Sin and Hatred due to Satan’s Grasp on it. In Acts, a small snippet of Jesus saying in Chapter 20 “It is more blessed to give than to receive” Just thought I’d give a good clarification.
I can go on with more scripture of how we are Dead to Sin, and if God doesn’t have anything on us then Neither does the Devil. Paul saying in Acts how if he could finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus gave em. Romans 1:16..DO NOT BE ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL
It Comes down to YOU being Motivated and Willing Enough to be a SERVANT to Others in this World to do as God has Commanded US to do with Healing the Sick, Raising the Dead, & Casting out Demons. The Power of HE who Rose from the Grave IS IN YOU…Just sit for 5 Min. and think about that! It’s incredible!
I just wanted to give everybody, and MYSELF, a Lifelong Challenge of that we have heard Many times in our lives yet we just push it Aside! Oh it kills me to think the Things I could of done if I had realized what God wanted me to do Years ago. I Ask for You Who is reading this to go throughout the day asking and Truly Praying “God, WHAT Would YOU have ME do?!”
