THREE weeks ago, I was approached by a guy who gave me a small pamphlet saying "Come see and hear a Modern Prophet at _______ Latter-Day Saints."  I was on a schedule to meet somebody elsewhere, and now looking back wish I could have taken the time to talk to these mormons on the Valdosta State campus.  I wanted to say to their face "I'm a modern Jesus with skin on walking prophet".

Now, it's clear so you understand this is not to be said in an arrogant and cocky way.  It's a state of mental awareness of Self and Identity in Him by what He says of Us.  We are "Christ with Skin on", Sons get His Inheritance, and when we Get This…we'll hopefully Act out of Love and "Bring Kingdom".  I'm sure I've "ruffled some feathers" among several who read this, but it's good to challenge what we believe in!

A question came across my head of: "How come no other "Christian group" on campus is talking/sharing about these things in broad daylight as these guys?".  Maybe there are, but I've never been a part or approached by them in my 5 years of college.  Seriously?  As a challenge to all those who call themselves "Christian", how come we don't talk about these things more with even our friends and those in public?  # 1 reason: fear

"Bring It"

It's been over a month now since I have been back from the G42 Leadership Academy in Spain.  It has been tough, but refreshing to see many friends and family.  I say tough, because it's maintaining a level of self-disicpline in seeking Him like I was able to over there amongst a Really Good and Challenging Community.  I have been able to share in small groups of simple things I have come to understand that scripture and Jesus was eluding to in the Bible.  Things such as our Mandate, Identity, the Kingdom of God on Earth NOW, and much more.

An event I have been planning and praying over into existence for over 3 months finally came to fruition on November 1st.  It was a cornhole tournament with a raffle.  I must admit my expectations were high, I lost some sleep, I learned the hard way in how to manage cost and effort into a fundraiser, and overall those who participated/contributed really did enjoy being apart of it!

Me putting the finishing touches on the cornhole sets.

To those who help contribute financially and/or physically in making this event happen, Thank You So Much!
I still have a few College Team (Florida, Auburn, Bama, GA Tech, and UGA/VSU) colored cornhole sets for sale at $100 a set including bean bags.  I also have some sweet looking t-shirts for sale at $10, which all the money from either go towards the South Sudan trip in late January.

They look awesome!

South Sudan is still a GREEN LIGHT!! (haha, green).  As a team, we recently met together for a bit of "training".  It was definitely needed to communicate and get to know each other better as a "family".  Each of us still must raise $21,200, and must have most of it with monthly pledges by December 31st, 2012We desire to leave near the end of January 2013.  Please consider being a partner of our 18-month trip and share with friends, bible study groups, and family.  We cannot clearly do this alone and without Your Support.  If you want to help right now, please visit my main Home page for supporting details and/or contact me at [email protected]/478-718-9431.

As a group and personally, we are very excited and eager to go and serve there in Yei, South Sudan!  We desire to make disciples and preach Christ where Christ is Not Known.

I came across in my readings in the minor prophets of the Bible in the book of Joel.  The section of Chapter 2 titled "The Day of the Lord".  It's a popular and mind blowing prophecy way back before Jesus even came on the Earth.  "I will pour out my Spirit on all people.  Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.  Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days."  I believe with my full being "those days" are Now!  The Spirit has been and is still being poured out upon "all people"!

Thanks for reading, please Share, and stay tuned with more to come!
