Uhhhh <- that’s pretty much my mind in trying to figure out how to explain what Training Camp was like. There are a few New Updates I want to Share with YOU though!!
Apparently there were SO many of us signed up for the Sept. Trip, that they split us into 2 different squads. After Camp I Completely understand why, because having just 40 of us in 1 squad is a good bit. I am apart of Q SQUAD!! This may make No sense to you what-so-ever, but that’s ok. Just know that Q SQUAD is Awesome and we make Satan Terrified at what We are doing/about to do.
To briefly explain what all I DID for 8 days. I punched Satan in the FACE (It was glorious), we sung for Him to Wash Over Us…I look to my right and it’s down pouring Rain….like a Are You Serious?! moment, sleeping in a tent was nothing to me & I Loved the outdoors, I wore a dress from a thrift store…yes, you read correctly, and was spiritually &mentally God released me of so Much CRAP (I will explain in another Blog, don’t worry). We were able to use what we had learned to share and love with many citizens in the Atlanta area, which this was the first time I really did this and it was an eye-opening experience to just sit and talk to random people in the community and pray for them. It was AWESOME!
Lets see….umm THERE’S JUST ONE MONTH BEFORE WE LEAVE!!! AHHH!!!!!!
If one asks me how I feel or if I’m excited, the answer will be….LETS DO IT!!!
Financially, I am Less than $5,000 away!!! As I was writing Thank You Letters today, I kept thinking over and over again in my head that “this is actually gonna happen!!!” Raising such support is an Adventure in itself and God has Shown through Time and Time again, and it just makes me sit in AWE of His Promise He put in my head So many Months ago!
Monthly supporters are encouraged and when one thinks more about it, it’s very reasonable. My Birthday is August 10 (coming up) and I’m turning 23. Soooo Let’s say one wants to donate 23 bucks a month (that’s honestly Not Too Much money per month, seriously) If I could get 20 People.. 20!! to donate $23 a month, I’ll be FUlly funded.
The act of Donating, or even giving money toward something, one is INVESTING their thoughts and Resources into something they feel confident in. With this Blog I Will Share what God is Doing out in the World and the So Many things wrong with this World We are SO ignorant of here in the United States. It’s an HONOR and a PRIVILEGE to have received what I’ve gotten so far. Those who just simply check my blog to see if I’m not dead yet, Thank You! haha Seriously, I Love being able to somehow Impact others from my experiences.
