ESPANA!! Technically, I leave April 5th for 6 Months to attend a Leadership Academy called G42.

I have mentioned it a few times before, but some of you may ask: WHY? Why this Specific place and why now?
My vision/idea: To use my skills of working with kids/youth via activities and sports to build relationships with them. Through these relationships it will open up opportunities to challenge, encourage/speak life into them, bestow upon them understandings from life’s experiences, and to be as someone to sit and listen to them. Whether it’s working as a gym teacher, summer camp style position, national/international missions, or anything that I see as a way to use the talents God has specifically given me.
What G42 offers: The type of environment and structure I am looking for in this time of my life. I understand I need to be Under someones “guidance”, and the staff there are astounding! I have considered other options such as grad. school, job seeking, and other similar “academies. However, I’ve had a peace about the opportunity to go to G42. I will be challenged and pushed by the experienced staff, while taking courses, to refine and focus on my vision of bringing God’s Kingdom through my skills and abilities.
This is the preparation, where’s the action?: I am currently planning on using my skills to minister to young people in a Very needy opportunity where few are serving. It’s at an orphanage in Yei, South Sudan. You might remember me mentioning this in previous blogs, but yes plans are in motion! I’m absolutely ecstatic about going, serving, and implementing my God given ability to work with kids.
Plans for this trip are still in the works, but I intend on being there about a year and a half and leaving next January! I will be working with orphaned kids who have very few healthy mentors in their lives, specifically from the war and turmoil of the Sudan area.
Conclusion: I pray you see my vision and desire of serving as exciting as I do. God’s moving in phenomenal ways in and through me, and the tangible evidence is coming! Shoot, it’s already evident!
