It’s like a promise from God to those who are Faithful.
This past week has been pretty interesting, and when I say that I mean in an Awesome way! Just actually to sit down and think of how Blessed I Am to be in my position and have real Tangible evidence I can See that I am blessed.
What does BLESSED Really mean? Well, according to Webster it’s: Held in reverence, honored in worship, or or enjoying happiness, bringing pleasure, and more. So, basically meaning GOOD Things. GOD Promises SO many times of Good things for us as Christians.
One of the toughest things in being a Steadfast Christian is being continuously Faithful that God will come through and things will happen according to His Will, Not Ours. We are told many times since we are a Christian that God has our Back at all times. Well, I have seen and Know that Life happens and just being a Christian doesn’t mean each one of our lives is just hunky dory fine (that’s a momma quote). Horrible things happen in this world to Good Faithful Christians, which make us go WHY!?!?! It’s So tough on us in wanting to Seek Truth and Answers/Reasoning behind the horrible things/events in our and other lives. Great example for one who was oppressed yet held Firm in his Faith was certainly Job.
Time and Time again in our Daily Lives We Want to see God bless us for being faithful, yet we become very obsessed I feel in Expecting Something Good will happen right then and there. There are many times in my life that I don’t feel Blessed and everything is Just Shot to pieces and I can’t see Any good in whatever situation I may be in. As humans, we Love to dwell on the negative, and its Worse when that is All we do. I can testify on being one of those who Dwell on being Negative in my thoughts, and it just ruins my whole personality and character.
I am working on promoting and putting together a benefit concert to help raise support and awareness of my trip here in Valdosta, GA. I have Never done something such as this before, and I find myself Many times during the day wondering “What Next Must I Do?”. Through the course of this week and the past few months, Several things have occurred towards reaching my goal of having a “successful” concert. After every Single little thing that helps me in getting closer towards having the concert and promoting it, I sit back and go “WOW, How in the World did That just happen?”.
So when I feel truly BLESSED I know for a Fact God’s behind it. For example, I have musicians who are willing to come and play, a Wonderful location to host the concert in the downtown First Methodist Church, having Many Helpful and Willing friends to assist me in Promoting this concert, getting Drinks donated to have At the concert for people, and So Many little Detail things I notice and happen towards getting this thing to become Real (ALL FOR FREE). It Blows my Mind.
I looked up “Blessed is” on biblegateway.com and it Totally reminded the Promise after Promise after Promise God tells us as a Reward of being a faithful Christian. God gives SO MANY Examples and reiterating on Many of the verses to attempt to get it Stuck in our Thick non-responding skulls to live Knowing we are Blessed.
I Pray for us as Christians to keep in mind of all the Good the Lord has Blessed us with, even in the tough times. Being a Very self-critical person, it has been SO Tough for me to see in ways that the Lord has Blessed me. Through the course of this week and Many times in other times of my life it is Great to Actually See How I am being Blessed, and it just makes me even more Humble and Thankful.
Even for those who Don’t believe in God, you Must Think Positive! Satan tries to feed us lies in our heads with that little voice telling us Everything is gone to ruin and it’s the worse Thing Ever. That is ALL FALSE, and there is Truth, which we don’t even See, behind God’s Word. Gah this is such a big topic in my head, yet it is so tough to give Clear thoughts that God has shown me. Fact of the matter is, KNOW that those who Fear the Lord are Blessed. Proverbs 28:14 Don’t EVER FORGET IT
