Hi. It’s been a really long time.
Update: I’m still a PE teacher in Denver, CO for now 4 years. I love it out here. I hike a lot and explore all that the city and region has to offer. I do this all while building community and bringing His Kingdom wherever I am to the best of my abilities. I really enjoy sharing life and stories with other World Race Alumni I live with or meet out here.
Ok, back to the title.
Yes, 30 MLB Ballparks in 2 Months. I’m insane…but I already knew this. I guess more people start to realize it. I’ve been planning this trip since August of 2018. Lots of planning and my mind is sort of freaking out right now of the “to-do-list” I still want to do before leaving. Just because I’ve been back from the World Race for a long time doesn’t mean my desire for adventure has subsided or lost interest in helping out non-profits.
1st game: Rockies vs Blue Jays in Denver on May 31, 2019.
Last game: Braves vs Reds in Atlanta on August 3, 2019.
I’m using my resources and networks to communicate with other Alumni of World Race, G42, and more across the United States (and Toronto), to find people who want to meet up or even host me for a few nights.
I have an entire website dedicated to this trips information with it’s own blog and nitty gritty details.
I decided to use this trip as a platform for raising awareness and support for 5 sports-focused non-profits based here in the US that other World Race Alumni have a direct connection with. If you have a minute to spare, there’s a tab on my trip website that share snippets of each one.
So many open doors have come to fruition while there’s so much of “what if” and all I gotta do is just go. Like what? Free tours, people opening their doors literally for me to stay for a night whom I don’t even know except for a mutual friend, and just having an itinerary that will work. It’s scary to some regards of the “unknown” yet it also draws my attention.
Please check out my website at www.mlbsummerroadtrip2019.com. My hashtag to search for my posts on social media is #CDTLH. What does it mean? I guess you’ll have to check out my website. 😉
Thanks for reading and checking this out. If you have comments, questions, or want to connect then feel free to do so. Be blessed!
