Hello!!!
Hope everyone is having a wonderful 4th of July Week 🙂 I just wanted to give you something fun to read and help you get to know my quirky self a little better.
Here are a few facts that you may not know…….
1. I was in beauty pageant and had the largest hair on the planet ( it was the 80's so I was in style)
2. turns out looking pretty in those dresses and having BIG hair wasn't my thing, I wanted to be a professional hockey player and play for the Tampa Bay Lightening. ( I was sooooo good, better than the boys)
3. I have Type 1 diabetes and it sucks ( almost 16 years now) . No insurance so its a pretty expensive habit 🙂 Jesus is always faithful and provides though and my healing is on its way!
4. I once collected spiders to make "cute" little spider buttons for my clothing line.
5. I was inspired to design clothes (specifically an entire line of plastic clothes) after watching one of the greatest/worst movies of all time…….B.A.P.S (this is a must see!)
6. I played keyboard in a hard core band (don't judge hardcore music was cool back in the day right???) only what felt like the same 4 chords for 3 shows…. turns out I don't like to be in front of a bunch of angry kids punching the ground and each other like goof balls
7. I dislike physical contact with people….secretly I love hugs from about 5 people ( you will never know who you are)
8. Life long dream…. to be a SpiceGirl…. Diabetic Spice
9. I am a fashion designer who absolutely HATES to sew
10. Biggest fear…. low blood sugar
11. Jesus was kind enough to make me very broke in college. If He hadn't I would have had the worlds worst tattoos. ( bats on my neck, giant spider web on my chest this was B.C.)
12. Favorite bands of all time….The cure, Depeche Mode, Sigur Ros, Elevation Worship, Freelance Whales, of monsters and men
13. Favorite Food….Brussle Sprouts ( cooked by my bestie Becky) and Tomatoes
14. Life Verse…. Philippians 2:1-4 ( READ IT and DO IT!!)
15. I may or may not have a small obsession with RAIN BOOTS
16. I love star wars…… enough to have a light saber tooth brush
17. I am super grossed out by feet!!!!
18. my diabetic weakness….. sprinkles cupcakes
19. I have more compassion than I know what to do with. I love people with messy lives because I love seeing the power of God clean them up.
