May the odds be ever in your favor……
The odds have never been more against me than they are in this very moment. 2 hours later and $150 down the tube I heard the word (and more than I had cared to hear) that I have fervently been praying against. The Dr. said “NO, you cant go travel and live in 3rd world countries with diabetes, they have diseases over there and you need consistent schedules to properly take care of your condition, not to mention I don’t understand why you have to pay to help people.” God I heard you say GO and I said YES, you said that I can do all things through you so now I need your strength to do what you called me to do. Raising $20,000 in itself seems like an impossible place to be; now I am going to battle against a world that tells me I cant spread your LOVE to the nations because of silly diabetes!!! Hey Satan :SHUT YOUR MOUTH: because I am going even if I have to see every last Dr. in America to get my Yes! I wanted to give up on everything today, but then I remembered I serve a God that gave a blind man his sight, who fed 5,000 people from 2 fish and 5 loaves a bread, who told a paralyzed man to get up and walk, a God who resurrected from the dead and a God who completely changed the heart of a hateful, screwed up, alcohol driven life to having compassion for the undesirable and a vision to set out and change the world with the very LOVE that changed her. Diabetes AINT nothing! God knows my every need and He deserves my trust!
So with Jesus,
THE ODDS ARE ALWAYS IN OUR FAVOR!!!!
