The world race wrecked me. The Lord used this trip to flip my life upside down and completely changed my whole view of this world. One of the biggest things I’ve leaned on this race is that my home is no longer in Florida. I may be from Orlando but it’s no longer home for me. Christ has shown me that my home is where He calls me. There’s a saying that says “home is where the heart is” and let me tell ya my heart is now in so many places. Each country I’ve gone to so far, I’ve left a little piece of my heart there. My home is in tacloban with the wonderful and awesome staff at the Lighthouse. My heart is on a mountain top at el Shaddai with some crazy crazy children that stole my heart. My heart is in Managua, Nicaragua where I’ve been shown what it means to be strangers one second and the next be family. You see my home is no longer in one place or another, it’s all over the world where I’ve left a part of myself, it’s where I’ve made all those amazing memories that I will forever cherish and will never forget.
