The Kingdom in the Sky– Lesotho
Lesotho (Le-soot-two), Africa is where I ventured out to for the 7th month of my World Race. Originally, my route head intended for me to had towards South Africa, but of course, God’s plans always prevail. It is in the only country in the world to be entirely above 1,000 m in elevation and it has the highest lowest point in the entire world at 1,400m. It is comprised of mostly “Basotho” people, while the rest is mostly European, Asian, and Zulu.
We worked with an awesome ministry called Africa 4 Jesus under the leadership of a missionary family from Kimberly, South Africa and the team God assembled from Malaelae Valley (home for the month).

Many days were well spent working in the sun, waking up to the call of a rooster, carrying a large solar panel for electricity, collecting clean drinking water from a local spring, and paving a way for the future. Since school was out of session, our goals were more focused on land development for the children to have a safe and fun place to come back to while also having the opportunity to learn about Christ. It’s humbling to know that every bit of effort counts! Some of the projects we worked on involved:
Taking apart a swingset:

Digging a water trench to collect water during the drought:
Hiking for house to house village ministry or to visit the King of the Valley (40min +)
And fellowship/bible studies with the some of my Brothers & Sisters

This was also the month I found out I was fully funded!
Oh yeah, I also led a step class along the way with some of the children! Check out the videos below with step class, travel to Lesotho, and some of our daily projects and cultural excursions thanks to Miss Julia Robertson (http://juliarobertson.theworldrace.org/) You can also check out her youtube channel to see more about our Lesotho adventures and subscribe!

Thanks again to everyone who is supporting this journey and following along! God has done such a mighty work within myself and those around me. It’s sometimes hard to fully describe the atmosphere when we are halfway around the world, but it’s mind blowing. Every day in Africa is eye opening and is stretching me to learn more about the culture, people, and the love of Christ.
Off to Swaziland….
