We have come a long way from this April 2015… And have now reached a total of $16,277.
THANK YOU to every single person that donated, volunteered, purchased bracelets/t-shirts, shared a post on facebook/Instagram, bought items on the packing supply list, gift matches, anonymous donors, referrals to friends and family, wrote notes, sent messages, watched the NBC 12 news, prayed, believed, and understood the significance of this trip! No words can truly express the gratitude I have for you all!!
Moment of reflection… what are the odds that God created such a unique opportunity to travel to 11 different countries for 11 months, and that HE would allow me to do it. Just get up and go. Just leave all that I knew and dive into 11 uniquely different countries after fighting just to get to graduation. To dive into what ministry is on such a deeper level after experiencing a life changing house-fire. To dive into what it truly means to serve God after running away from Him for so long. To dive into who Jesus really is and meditate on how he changed my life. It blows my mind each and every day. It is a miracle in disguise and I am truly blessed!
I’ve been to countries where sharing the gospel is illegal. I’ve been to places where access to a Bible is limited. I’ve met so many people who have heard Jesus’ name and believe that he is simply a fable. I’ve seen people lose connections to family by choosing into Him. I’ve seen desperate faces just to be in his presence,and those who want nothing to do with “Jesus talk.” I’ve seen so much and I believe God wants us all to see this. For us to have His eyes, and see what His people are going through. I don’t want to be cheesy, but my eyes have literally been opened up to so much! I hope yours have too.
So before I leave you all to celebrate in Lesotho, Africa like a soccer player who kicked the game winning goal….. I’ll close in prayer
– Dear God, Thank you so much for an opportunity to serve you. Thank you so much for all those that you have sent into my path. For the endless blessings that you send day to day, and for opening our eyes to how truly blessed we are. I am truly grateful. I pray that you would intercede for all those that are reading this message. That you would overflow into their lives, as you have overflowed into mine. That you would meet them right where they are and meet their needs. Whether they be spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, or financial Lord. I pray that you would uplift those who are feeling low Lord, for those who are battling tough times in their lives, for those who have been discouraged, for those who are persecuted, for those who at a time of loss. I pray that you would bless them in a mighty way and provide all that their hearts need. I pray for that you would also encourage those who are doing well Lord. That you would continue to bless them abundantly and continue to take them into higher places as they seek your face. I pray that you would also touch the lives of those who were not directly addressed by my words. For you see all things, and know things, and can do much more than I ever could.
Today and everyday we declare your goodness. We confirm when we takes leaps of faith with you, that you will provide. We confirm that when we seek, we will find. We love you, and we thank you. All the Glory belongs to you. In Jesus’ Name I pray.
