Hey Family, Please read this carefully! A day of service is an amazing volunteer opportunity that was opened up to me the other day in order to fundraise for the World Race. I was offered the opportunity to raise $2,000 dollars towards the World Race with an organization called Magic Special Events. If we are able to get enough volunteers, they will donate all the funds directly towards my campaign. Your day of service will allow me to continue my service to others while I am on the field in Nepal for the Month of August! Since I will be away, I have put Ms.Chelsea Gary and Danyel Smith in charge of the event. All questions can be answered at [email protected]!

Here’s what is needed:
Friday, July 31st 5PM-8PM (25 Volunteers)-SET UP
Saturday August 1st 9AM-11AM (25 Volunteers) -SET UP
Saturday August 1st 11AM-7PM (42 Volunteers)
Saturday August 1st 7PM-Finish (30 Volunteers)-BREAKDOWN
*5000 Commerce Way, North Dinwiddie, VA
*All volunteers must be 18 or older!
What will you be doing?:
SET UP/BREAKDOWN- Set up includes unloading and putting together games, activity booths, tents, food service areas, etc. Because many of these items weigh more than 50 pounds, most of these volunteers assigned to this area should be male…When the event is completed, the volunteers will disassemble all booths, activities, tents and equipment and reload on the trucks. Volunteers will clean the grounds at the end of the event.
DAY OF EVENT-Assignments will be made for all activities which includes everything from running game booths, serving concessions and drinks, manning inflatables, calling bingo to name a few. Mostly adults will be preparing, serving and grilling foods. Once assigned, we request the volunteer(s) remain in that area until the event is completed and you have cleaned up your work area.
