These are just some of the moments that top my list of memories of this past year. In no particular order, I give you my top 20 favorite moments of my race…..
1. Bungee jumping in Uganda into the Nile River TWICE!!
2. Preaching to 300 high school boys in Kenya about sex
3. Sitting next to my best friend Dan Lidwin for all of our bus rides
4. Rooming with Dan, Ryan and Nate for month 1 in Mocholeros hostel in Guatemala
5. Having nightly pillow talks with Jeremy in Malaysia
6. Giving my testimony to a drug rehab center in Vietnam
7. Getting baptized one my 1 year anniversary of accepting Christ in lake Nicaragua by Stacey and Mike
8. Performing in a break dancing competition in Thailand
9. Having our contacts son Doxa fall asleep on my chest in Tanzania
10. Giving my testimony in Guatemala at a dump
11. Getting to go to Singapore during our month in Malaysia
12. Ending my race in Malawi and showing my squad the hostel where I worked
13. Having Marie and Johan, the contacts in which the first World Race team had, as my contacts for month 11 of my own race
14. Being blessed by having most of P squad, AIM staff and coaches support, encourage and pour into me the entire race
15. Our 50 hour bus ride from Dar Es Salaam to Lilongwe
16. Pilling into a mini bus army style in Uganda
17. Playing laser tag at the mall in Honduras for my 22nd birthday
18. Going to see Ankor Wat in Cambodia, which is one of the 7 wonders of the world
19. Going to a professional soccer game in Uganda. ‘Uganda Cranes, We go, we go, Uganda Cranes WE GO!!!!’
20. And finally….being blessed by meeting the beautiful Ms. Erica Floyd J and getting to spend this amazing year with her.
