We went to the Christian drug rehab place again today!!! I was so excited for so many reasons, I was giving the message, worship, hoping to get to see my friend Youing (from my last blog) and seeing all the guys again. We walked in, prayed as a group for our time there and went into the meeting room. We worshiped for a few songs, some in Vietnamese and some in English. Vivian then gave a word which was amazing and then I got to share my heart with them.

Before I spoke I asked if Youing was there because I really wanted him to hear my message. I asked the people that worked there and they said that he went home to deal with a family matter. As much as I wanted to believe them, I could easily imagine that he just didn’t wanted to be there anymore and he left to go get high and he probably wasn’t going to return. It broke my heart. But the Lord opened a few other doors for us. I spoke and shared my heart and a few things about my life. I saw some of them really feel what I was saying. After I finished we asked them if anyone wanted to come and get prayed over. A few of them said yes, and that is what this blog is about….

Picture in your minds an older man, full of tattoos, a little intimidating looking, a little beaten up from life, sad from the scars of all drugs he has done, but a MAN who you would not mess with…..

We prayed for this man and he broke down.

Now picture that man weeping in our hands

His tear drops falling 1 by 1 on your hands

Showing his emotions in front of 30 men

That’s not easy for a man like that!!!

But it must have been so releasing for him!! Letting the pain just melt off of him and knowing that he is LOVED!!!

After we finished he hugged me and it felt like he never wanted to let go!!

We also prayed for a younger man who was new to the house, he was not Christian and still relapsing.

Also, a 16 year old boy whose brother is addicted and lives there, but chooses to live there rather than his home because he likes the community and wants to stay with his brother to help him get better. While we were praying for him, his tears as well just fell into my hands. We prayed for him and his family and he said he felt so much better after.

I just LOVE going to this place!!! The Holy Spirit shows up every time!!! There is still so much to be done there though, so we hope to go back a few more times before we leave.
