I can NOT believe that I am writing this blog, but I am!!! This is the ‘what are you doing after the race?’ blog. So….to answer that question here it is.

After the race I will be attending Iris ministries Harvest school in Pemba Mozambique!!! The school was started by world renowned evangelists Heidi and Roland Baker.

Iris Ministries’ Harvest School is a spirit-filled and Spirit-led, hands-on, in the dirt, evangelistic missions training school, like no other mission training school.

Their vision can be summed up in a few words:

CALLED TO LOVE

It costs everything. It's passion and compassion. Extravagant love that gives without expecting back. A laid down life. A love that looks like something practically. It's a huge vision that is changing the world person by person and nation by nation.

Matthew 9:36-38: "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest."

The school starts Oct 1st and ends Dec 6th. My World Race will be ending Aug 27th in Malawi and I will travel to Pemba Mozambique by bus for the school.

I believe that this school will be an amazing opportunity for me to grow in my relationship with the Lord, experience the Holy Spirit in a way that I never have and learn what it REALLY looks like to lay down my life for others and be compelled to love like Christ would. Also I think it will be an amazing platform for me and put me in just the right mind set to start my orphanage right after.
