Heller!!! Sorry for the lack of communication of my life in the past year or so. Once the World Race and Harvest School finished…… my passion for blogging did as well. But I’m BACK!! So here is what I’ve been up to for the past year.
After Harvest School finished I stayed in Africa for a few more months working with a great church who works with street kids in the capital in Malawi. I also traveled Malawi a bit more to hang out with some of my friends and soak in the country I love so much.
After an extra 6 months of staying in Africa after the World Race, I headed home. I went right back into working at my restaurant to make some money and plan for what was next. Through out that summer I traveled to and from Georgia to help work at 3 World Race training camps to help prepare a total of 600 young adults to go out to have the same life changing journey I had gone on. I also stayed in Georgia for a few months to work for Adventures in Missions working in a few different departments. It was one of the best summers of my life. Full of good friends, fellowship, food and there wasn’t a day that went by that wasn’t full of uncontrollable laughter.
I then went back home to start a life changing journey. For the past 10 years I’ve, in the simplest way to put it, have had arthritis in my left hip. With everything I had been doing in my life, it had taken its toll on my body, and my hip. So at the ripe old age of 24 I got my hip replaced!!! Yes, you read that correct. So for the past 7 months I have been recovering from that.
I also took a 4 month trek with the Lord through Africa. I spent time in prayer, visiting my friends, doing ministry and had some really cool adventures like walking with loins in Zambia, going diving with great white sharks in Cape Town and walking around the streets of Amsterdam. It was an amazing time with the Lord to soak in His presence and hear His voice.

I recently came back to the states to work another World Race training camp and got to see 200 more missionaries be prepared for the field. Which has also led me to the journey I am on now. Which is, I am leading a Passport trip to Nepal for 2 months. I have 8 amazing college aged adults that I get to do life and ministry with for 2 months, which so far, has been amazing!!!
So thats been my life in a nutshell, I would encourage you to stay tuned because I have some good stuff coming up next!! You’ll have to wait and see what it is….
