From now until July I’ll be showing movies in the courtyard where I live in the Hyde Park area of Austin!  The movies are free and open to the community, but I will have a donation jar for those who would like to contribute to the cost of the World Race.  And to make it even more awesome, I’ll be serving a meal at each showing!  The menu will vary, and will be listed on this blog prior to each movie, as well on the Facebook group that was created for these events.  Movies will start about 8:30, with meals and socializing about 7:30.

So you’re probably wondering what will be showing.  I’ve decided to show more documentaries than blockbuster hits.  But that doesn’t mean I won’t be showing any mainstream movies.  This is Austin though, so there’s an obligation to keep it weird!   With that said, here’s the tentative schedule…
Sunday May 13:    Strange Brew
Thursday May 24:  The Creators (a documentary produced by my awesome friend, Laura Gamse)
Sunday May 27:  Running The Sahara
Thursday May 31:  Ride The Divide
Thursday June 7:  Pelada
Thursday June 14:  Food Matters
Sunday June 17:  Land of the Lost (Will Ferrell)
Sunday June 24:  The Princess Bride
