A month or so ago, AIM
let us know that the month of Thailand
would consist of man ministry and women ministry. We were asked if Beth and I
wanted to do the month together or apart. At first. I thought it was crazy. Our
relationship before marriage was spent mostly as long distance.  Since being married, we have only been apart
for 2 weeks. A long crazy two weeks. After it was over, we thought we will
never do that again.

So when we were asked together
or apart, I was thinking why they would even ask that. We are committed and we are
stronger together. We prayed about it and still thought, yes together.

Then a few days before
ministry, we knew God had other plans for us. This was humbling after telling
everyone we were staying together for ministry. So things changed. This month
Beth is in Bangkok,
serving with 8 girls as a team leader, and I am in Chiang Mai with all the 14
men.

I have learned already
that God comes before even our marriage. He must be the center of everything. I
am learning to take the time to talk to God first. I also learned that it does not
work or matter the plans I have for the two of us. What plans does God have for
us? God may call us to something different no matter what the timing looks
like. Be obedient.

We are excited that we
can be used for God in two places.

We are excited for the
growth that will happen between us, God, and our teams.

Please
pray with us this month for: our marriage to grow more, protection for the
women, Beth as a team leader for the month, and the growth God has in store for
us.
