As a couple, missions was something we’ve felt called to serve together from the beginning. We’ve always felt a passion to travel and experience different countries and cultures. Over a decade ago Beth
received her first prophesy that she and her husband to be (Brian!) would go
into the missions field together. Several prophesies later confirmed
this more and more with greater clarity each time. The Lord told Beth
then to have a patient heart and now it is so exciting to feel the push
to move forward into what we feel will be the big start of our
missions experiences together. We never knew when or where it would happen, but we do know that we are
called to serve God as missionaries.

called to serve God as missionaries. In recent years, we felt the time was coming and we were waiting for doors to open (or doors to close). We looked at a few different missions opportunities but nothing felt right, but when we found out about “the world race” we instantly felt at peace and super stoked. It combines the mission to serve God and His people along with the adventure and travel that we love. We prayed and asked others to pray with us that this is God’s will for us to go on “the world race.” It continues to be a mission that God has confirmed with us and the time has come to prepare our hearts to go!
We’ve had some great opportunities to serve locally in our community. It has been amazing to do missions work in our own neighborhood, but we’re actually ecstatic about serving in countries like Africa!
We’ve fallen in love with the amazing culture’s we’ve come across through traveling. Third world cultures were such humbling experiences that showed us how much we take for granted in America. Papua New Guinea is where the Lord really started to prepare Beth’s heart to be a missionary. Our eyes have been opened to some of the basic needs that are neglected in the world and we feel called to help provide them. The families in these cultures still remain to this day to be some of the happiest people we’ve ever encountered despite being from countries that are being destroyed.
