Today as we had our daily squad time after dinner our team logistics person, Tim, talked about how important it was to always keep our hands wide open. At first I was thinking, "but why? If God is giving us a gift shouldn't we hold on to it?"
As Tim began to explain it hit me, and hit me hard. There are times God gives us things for just a season. He doesn't want us to keep things with us forever, but for us to do what He needs done and give it back to Him. But also, if we are holding on so tightly to one things God has given us we do not give Him room to bless us with something on top of that.
So I am keeping this short and sweet, but hope it fills you with much more! God is good, and all He does is for the glory of His kingdom and for our good. So I challenge you all to give your life up to God, and when you do, do it with hands wide open. Let God bless you by you blessing God!
I send all my love to those back home, but want you to know that God is taking care of me tremendously!! He has changed our route, and instead of going to Ukraine next month we will be going to Moldova. Moldova is the poorest country in Europe, and there is no doubt that God has HUGE plans for me, my squad, and the natives in that country.
Please continue to pray for us all. It is so greatly appreciated!
Much love,
Bri Legan
