It’s that time in the Race. We’re over half way through, and the thoughts flood my mind on what’s to come after. I have been praying day after day, “God what is your will for my life?” That is, until yesterday. Not only have I been seeking God’s word morning and night for answers, but even blogs and writing online of people asking the same question.

And then, yesterday I ran across a blog titled exactly what I’ve been praying for weeks..

“God, what is your will for my life?”

In this blog It talks about how the real question we should be asking is, “God, what is your will?” It should never be about me, but about God always! So what is God’s will? It is to be worshiped.

Even more than that, God’s will on earth is to save sinners like us in order to spread his grace and his glory to the ends of the earth.

So, is there really only ONE will God has for us? Will we ever really know? Probably not. But what I do know is what He tells me in His word. And that is..

“We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” –Romans 8:28

So what if I go to Ireland and join the Pais Project? Or what if I go to Africa and work at El Shaddai Orphanage? Or what if I stay home, go to Bible College, and get involved at ministries there? Am I still in God’s will. YES! So do I have to worry about making the wrong decision? NO.

As long as I am following God and telling others about Him, I am in His will.

So do yourself a favor.. take the pressure off yourself to “make the right decision”. Because if you love God, worship Him, and put all your faith in Him you can trust that no matter what you do, or where you go, God will turn it to good. Praise be to God!
